• We help building and homeowners, facility managers, insurance companies, and tenants identify and resolve indoor energy loss problems, indoor air quality, and moisture intrusion issues before they become costly health, comfort, or asset problems. Typical outcomes include increasing energy efficiencies, reducing odour and health complaint calls, identifying the presence of Radon gas, verifying ventilation performance, documenting compliance, and preventing mould or water damage through early detection.

  • A one-time IAQ testing assessment is a point-in-time investigation that uses calibrated instruments and (where applicable) lab sampling to diagnose current conditions, with the initial assessment setting the baseline. Continuous 24/7 monitoring, however, deploys sophisticated IoT multi-sensor devices to establish and trend CO2, CO, temperature, relative humidity, VOCs, particulate matter 2.5/10, and more over days, months, even on a permanent basis. This gives you 24/7 visibility, alerts, and data for seasonal or occupancy-related patterns.

  • We typically measure CO2 (ventilation effectiveness), CO (safety), temperature/ RH (comfort and mould risk), VOCs (emissions/off-gassing), and particulate matter (filtration & source control), with options for Radon gas and formaldehyde. These indicators align with well-recognized industry standards and Health Canada guidelines, helping pinpoint root causes like inadequate outdoor air, high emissions, or filtration gaps.

  • Envirotrak Analytics Ltd. currently serves indoor environments across Toronto GTA and surrounding regions. We can support multi-site building portfolios throughout Ontario. For projects outside Ontario, please contact us to discuss feasibility.

  • IoT (Internet of Things) sensor monitoring uses smart, connected devices to continuously measure indoor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), particulate matter 2.5/PM10, and more. These compact sensors are strategically placed throughout a building/ zones and transmit real-time data wirelessly to a secure IoT cloud platform.

Once collected, the data is analyzed using advanced AI augmented software that identifies patterns, trends, and potential risks. Alerts can be triggered if levels move outside of healthy or compliance thresholds, enabling quick action before small issues become costly problems. For example, if humidity rises above safe levels, the system may signal a potential for mould growth; or if CO2 concentrations are elevated, it may indicate insufficient ventilation.

This real-time, automated monitoring provides building owners, employers, and facility managers with actionable insights, ensuring healthier indoor environments, improved occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and compliance with recognized standards such as Health Canada IAQ guidelines and ASHRAE best practices.

  • An infrared (IR) moisture inspection survey uses thermal imaging to locate temperature anomalies that often correlate with hidden moisture behind walls and ceilings. We confirm our findings with advanced moisture meter technology and, if needed, a  borescope camera. This type of inspection is ideal after leaks, for insurance claims or for pre-purchase/ lease due diligence.

  • There are some example prices on the website. Our pricing is scoped to your space (square feet/ no. floors), number of specific contaminants tested, duration, if lab analysis is required, and the number of zones and sensors for monitoring. We offer fixed-scope quotes for assessments and flexible subscription options for monitoring and analytics. Tell us your objective (compliance, health complaints, insurance claim, property due diligence), and we’ll right-size the package to your needs.

  • You’ll get a clear, professional report with:

    • Executive summary and risk prioritization

    • Data visuals (trends, heat maps, exceedances)

    • Source hypotheses and root-cause analysis

    • Practical recommendations (no-cost/ low-cost, capital items)

    • Compliance-ready documentation (e.g., testing methods, instruments, calibration, and reference thresholds)
For ongoing monitoring, you also receive dashboards, alerting rules, and periodic analytics reviews.

  • We plan assessments to minimize disruption—most test measurements are non-invasive and can be done during normal business operations (8 am - 6 pm). For sensitive spaces (medical, schools, boardrooms) we can schedule evenings or weekends and coordinate with facilities for access to mechanical rooms and air handling units.

  • Live dashboards and preliminary insights are often available within 24 hours after monitoring begins. Formal written reports for manual assessments are typically delivered within 3 business days after fieldwork and once lab results (if any) are received. Multi-week investigations include interim updates as milestones are reached.

  • All of our instruments are professionally maintained and calibrated on a regular schedule with traceable standards. We also apply time-synchronization and quality checks so that data, photos, and field notes line up precisely in your report.

  • We provide moisture diagnostics and IAQ investigative testing that may include mould risk assessment and, where warranted, lab sampling. To remain objective, Envirotrak Analytics Ltd. does not perform any remediation work; instead, we provide an action plan you can take to any qualified and licensed contractor, and we can re-assess to verify effectiveness.

  • Yes, absolutely. Our measurements, photos, chain-of-custody (when sampling), and calibration records are compiled into compliance-ready DOCs suitable for insurers, legal teams, and regulatory stakeholders. We can tailor deliverables for property managers, tenants, boards, and health & safety committees if needed.

  • We configure alert thresholds to align with your risk tolerance and operations (e.g., CO2 and Radon limits in offices/ classrooms/ homes, RH ceilings to prevent mould growth, PM spikes near renovation zones). Alerts can be routed to facilities, health & safety, or service vendors, with escalation paths to prevent alarm fatigue.

  • Please ensure access to mechanical rooms, roofs (if applicable), and key complaint areas; inform occupants of the schedule; and identify any known incidents (leaks, odours, hot/cold spots). For moisture surveys, objects/ furniture must be cleared from suspected problem wall areas. For monitoring, we’ll confirm 120 vac power access for our IoT gateways as needed. No special shutdowns are typically required.

  • We can align monitoring plans and assessment reports to common credit requirements (e.g., ventilation, IAQ testing, moisture management) and provide the evidence packages your certification consultant needs. If you’re not pursuing a certification, we still use similar performance targets to guide practical improvements.

  • We respect your data privacy and security! You own your monitoring and assessment data. We secure data in transit and at rest, restrict access to your project team, and anonymize occupant feedback when included. We never sell data to third parties. Please see our data privacy documentation.
